"If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." - Colossians 3:1-4

2 Corinthians 9:6-15
"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work"

We'll read in this passage that God loves a cheerful giver. Why? The answer, in short, is that Christ who, for the shear joy set before him, endured the cross, scorning it's shame, and sat down at the right hand of the father. The is a deep connection between God's character as giver, and what it means for the Christian to be transformed into his character. Join us as we take a look at God's nature as giver and give thanks for another amazing year at Common Ground.
