And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.” But Naaman was angry and went away, saying, “Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the leper."
As we celebrate Christ through those who have made the decision to be baptized, we will be taking a one week break from the relationship series and come back the following Sunday to finish out with "Broken and Hopeful." We simply have to rejoice with those who are turning to Christ in the defiant act of baptism. In a world that says you are nothing, you are worthless, you are a shame and you don't matter. Baptism is the defiant act that declares, "I am the beloved of God." Join us as we look forward to resting in God's love as a family and community.
