He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts; he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate; he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.
This Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent. We simply cannot contain the joy! 5th Sunday means we as a church family always gather together in the Silk Mill for the entire service. The purpose behind this is to teach and pass along our liturgy and faith to our children. Letting them watch and participate in our confessions. Letting them watch and participate in our hope, readings, prayers, songs, and Eucharistic life. The gospel is hope breaking in and gathering together as an entire family 4 or 5 times a year reminds us of this hope. We just got real lucky and this Sunday fell on the first day of Advent. Join us and be ready to sit on the floor, hold a friends baby so they can worship, just come prepared to Make HIM room!
