Acts 17 is one of the most contextualized presentations of the Gospel that we see in the NT. Paul walks through the city and is grieved by how dark the cloud of idolatry was that hung just above the acropolis. We have so much to learn from Paul as he presents Christ to the Athenians. He observes, he listens, he quotes their poets, and he boldly proclaims the resurrection. Join us on Sunday and bring a friend as we worship a God up against some of the competing philosophies that would try to outsmart God.
