"If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." - Colossians 3:1-4

Genesis 37:1-11
Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was theson of his old age. And he made him a robe of many colors. But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peacefully to him.
As the narrative of Joseph begins, it starts with family dysfunction. Something we can all relate with! Joseph received parental favoritism from his father and that coat that he is so famous for was just about the end of him. Join us on Sunday and bring a friend as we start a new series and ask the question of how God in his providence and love is the answer for parents and children alike.
