"If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." - Colossians 3:1-4

There is a treasure tucked away in 1 Kings 3 that is so popular that it is one of the most famous stories in the entire world.  People who know nothing else about the Bible or God have heard of the story of Solomon's wisdom when the two prostitutes came to his court so he could help them settle a dispute about a live and dead baby.  Solomon's wisdom was profound, but there are some themes in the story that are even more profound.  Solomon's conclusion of the matter was, "Chop the baby."  Join us as we look at the love of a mother, the wisdom of a king, and the hope that we have in Christ.  It's a great week to bring a friend as we talk about the amazing love of God for all his children, even the prostitutes.
